Telling the Back Stories of Freedmen's Town
People have traveled from around the world to visit Historic Freedmen’s Town. Harriett’s History Box, LLC Tours are conducted in group sizes consisting of at least 10 people through various medians and locations including walking and virtual tours. The impact on participants will be life changing. Tourist will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the rich legacy of our ancestors and walk on the same brick street. They will gain a wealth of knowledge to embrace and celebrate Freedmen’s Town History as American History rather than Black History. The content of our tours is designed around the experiences and personal references of the tour guides from living and serving in Historic Freedmen’s Town.
